Meet the Agri-Tech Market Expert 2021 (Virtual)

The Department for International Trade (DIT), in conjunction with Business West, are bringing over 50 global Commercial Trade Officers direct to your screens with our second virtual Meet the Market Expert event for the Agri-Tech sector.

Eager to meet ambitious South West of England Agri-Tech companies, the Commercial Trade Officers can advise you on your target market suitability and will be able to make introductions to the connections that matter.

Over 200 meetings will be held over the course of the day and you’ll be able to request bookings with an Officer at a time that suits you. A wide variety of countries will be represented on what promises to be an action-packed day where new, prosperous relationships will be made.

Why take part?

This is an exclusive opportunity for South West of England companies to showcase their products and services whilst assessing potential in new markets, at a time when new business is vital for all. The Commercial Trade Officers will be looking for products or services, which respond to the requirements of their marketplace. Following the event, they will continue their engagement with you and make the introductions to relevant buyers and stakeholders.

How does it work?

To make sure that you get the most out of the day we have set up this booking portal to allow you to review and request meetings with your preferred Commercial Trade Officers. The system allows all participants to request and receive meeting submissions; with all face-to-face virtual meetings taking place on the platform via the in-house video chat feature.

Meetings will be approved or rejected based on whether your product is relevant for the target market. You can also decide whether to hold a meeting with a Commercial Trade Officer or not. This process ensures that the day is optimised, allowing you to meet suitable Officers that already have an interest in your product or service.

Once your registration has been approved, we will send you some further guidance on how to use the platform and what to expect in the lead up to the event. However, we would encourage you to contact us if you have additional questions at any stage.

There will be opportunities to speak with Trade Officers from the countries* listed on the right.

*Countries are subject to final confirmation and may change.
